A good person

I am a good person. I give to the homeless people on the streets. I open doors for people and let them enter before me. I go to work and go home. I mind my own business. I don't drink or do drugs. I am a hard worker. I have many friends. I don't do things to hurt people. I have never had an affair. I try to help people whenever I can. I own a new house and a new car. I pay cash for everything I want. I have more than most people and I have earned it all. I have loaned many money to get them out of debt. I am a good person and I have done a lot of good things.
How many of us has this been our story or that of someone we know? It is easy to get wrapped up in the things of this world and to become blind to something that is right in front of us. Looking for acceptance is something that is built in to us. We all want to be accepted for who we are. Sometimes we get so involved with looking for acceptance that we miss the truth of our acceptance and by whom we are found to be very acceptable by.
In GOD'S eye's we are found very valuable and worthy of HIS love. Even though we all once was like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags, But GOD found a way to bring us out of this and back to HIMSELF. HE sent HIS only SON to tell us the truth and to provide us with that way back. That way back is by way of the cross and through the SON of GOD. Crucified, buried and raised with HIM. All old things are gone and the new has come. We are no longer who we used to be, but are new creatures, set apart from this world.
Mans ways are to death but GOD'S way is to eternal life. For those of us that believe we will and do have eternal life with GOD already set in writing. For those who choose not to believe, there is a place for them as well. Some may say that all good people go to Heaven. Some say there is no Heaven. Some say there is no Hell. The fact is that the scripture's are witness to the fact that there is none that are good, no not one and that Heaven and a Hell are real places. What do you choose to believe?
Luke 16:15-31
15 He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight. 16 “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. 17 It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. 18 “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. 19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ “
Come Home by way of the cross and meet with JESUS there. Repent, Confess your sin and ask for forgiveness, Seek a relationship with GOD that will bring you eternal life. GOD loves you and wants to be in a relationship with you. HE accepts you as you are and finds you so worthy of HIS love and blessings. HE wants to be accepted by you as he has accepted you. Will you accept HIM today? Will you find GOD acceptable? Will you find GOD worthy of your love? C O M E H O M E!!!!!
