Come Follow Me!

Everywhere in scripture that I see Believe with it comes Faith, or I see Faith with it comes Believe. They go hand in hand and they are as one with each other. As well, everywhere in scripture I see Sin with it comes Flesh, or I see Flesh with it comes Sin. We are born into Sin. We are born into Flesh. Sin then is the Flesh. When we are in the Flesh we are in Sin. When we Sin, we do so in the Flesh. Therefore Sin is who we are and flesh is what we live in. They go hand in hand and are as one with each other. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned. Sin,Flesh,Death all go together and are one with each other. This is who we are and death is what will happen to us. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. All we have to do is choose to listen, which is the start of learning something new. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Hearing that God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. This brings us to the question of, How did HE give His son? Through the same birth from a woman that we came into this world so also did HIS son come into this world. Grew up as we grew up. Talked as we talk. Died as we die, but lived by a way that we need to learn to live our life. A life that will give us life even though we die. A life of the spirit. The way JESUS died is the key to the spirit. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. This spirit we can also live in and be led by. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
The only way to live by the spirit is to be reconciled to GOD by way of the cross. We must choose to believe that we in the Flesh, in SIN, are crucified with CHRIST on the cross. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loves me and gave himself for me. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. By way of faith and believing we Admit to CHRIST our sin and Give our life in the Flesh or Sin to death and accept the spirit of GOD. CHRIST said, and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
At this point we start to learn from the life of CHRIST in the scriptures, what it is like to walk in the spirit. We learn that the things we used to do in the Flesh we don't desire to do anymore. We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! We choose to believe that we don't have to do those things and that if we do those things, then we have forgiveness by way of the cross to be able to move on and not do those things again. For the advocate that dwelleth in us will remind us that what we are about to do is not of the spirit but of the Flesh. To which we can stop and choose to do what is of the spirit. We don't have to Sin or do the things of the Flesh, but GOD is not going to force us not to do them. HE loves us so much HE has provided us with a way back to HIM.
If you have realized that you are living in the Flesh or Sin and want to stop it, then JESUS is waiting for you at the cross. For those who walk in the spirit but have slipped into the Flesh and need Forgiveness, JESUS is also waiting for you at the cross. Come and be reconciled, forgiven, filled with the spirit and rejoice. This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
