I've been thinking today about love. There are many different kinds of love that we experience through out our lives. We have love for our parents, love for extended family and friends. Some of us have pets that we love. We have love for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Many of us have children and grandchildren that we love beyond measure. Most have spouses that we love so much that we took an oath to spend our entire lives with them. That being said, we have all experienced the disappointment of being hurt by someone that we have loved. You may have been ignored, abandoned or divorced by people whom you have loved. You may have hurt people or let them down at some point. One thing is certain,people make mistakes, people will fail you. The good news is that we don't have to live in that place of hurt and disappointment! God's love will never fail you! God's love is passionate, it is powerful, and it is personal. He is devoted to you. His love for you is authentic. He loves you when you don't feel lovely. He loves you when you fail Him. He loves you when you're broken. He loves you when no one else does. He will never give up on you. He will love you always, no matter what! He loves you with a deep, everlasting love. If you will put your focus on Him you will be able to withstand the failures of human nature.He will fill you up with His love so that you will be able to give love freely to others. 1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us
